Rise of Kingdoms is a free-to-play strategy game from Lilith Games, first released on mobile in 2018 (originally under the name Rise of Civilizations) and later brought to PC and Mac with shared progress across devices.
Players pick one of the game’s historical civilizations, such as Rome, Britain, China, Japan or the Vikings, build and upgrade a city, recruit commanders and send armies across a huge shared world map. Battles play out in real time on that map, and alliances, territory and large-scale wars between players are at the heart of the long-term game.
