RAID: Shadow Legends is a free-to-play turn-based fantasy RPG from Plarium. It launched globally on mobile in March 2019 and arrived on PC in January 2020, and it’s played on Windows and Mac through Plarium’s own launcher (Plarium Play) as well as on iOS and Android, with progress shared across devices.
The core of the game is collecting champions from many factions, building teams and upgrading their gear to clear a campaign, dungeons, boss fights and player-versus-player arena battles. Champions are mostly obtained by opening summoning shards, and much of the long-term progression comes from farming and upgrading gear. Battles can be played manually or on auto, which suits players who want a game they can progress in short sessions.
